I grew up in coal-country Western Pennsylvania. Music was always part of my life in one form or another...my Mom was the Organist @ church and led the choir....so of course the whole family had to be in the choir. My Dad used to entertain me up in the choir loft...mostly making fun of other people in church and changing the words around to the Hymnals. At home, the music was Country and Frank Sinatra-esque easy listening, and of course Polka on Sundays after Church. It was torture!! My Uncle Tom had his autobody shop closeby where he would invite me to come hang out and help him sand cars, mix paint etc. He had an old rolling cabinet stereo from the 60's in the shop that was always cranked to 11 while we did autobody work. This was the introduction of rock-n-roll into my life. He introduced me to Foreigner, the Doors, Rush, Yes, Billy Squier, etc....and the rest is history. I started playing drums seriously at the age of 6 and later started playing guitar and bass in my early teens.

I have been playing gigs with various bands since I have been about 10 years old. My Uncle Don got me hooked up with some Old Timers who had a Polka/Country band and needed a drummer. I was only 10, but started rocking it at the VFW's and church picnics. Since then, music has offered me opportunites that have allowed me to perform on cruiseships, over much of the U.S. and overseas. I have encountered many interesting experiences, shared the stage with countless talented musicians, and have met many awesome people along the way. I am thrilled that my musical journey has led me now to Phoenix Rising and I can't wait to see where things go from here!
