I am the son of a violin symphonist and piano teacher. I played violin from age 9 to 18 (learned a little theory and trained a little ear), then found dad's old p.o.s rusty ax in middle school (crap strings = good callouses). I skipped orchestra senior year to practice guitar (w/ very cool conductor's permission) and received a scholarship to villa julie (stevenson U). There I joined the jazz ensemble (my first paying gig!). Local acts included Lynda Blair (covers), Tru Expressionz (original gogo band) and Chronic Alibi (covers/originals).

I enjoy rocking out, improvising, jumping off of drum risers, and jizzing on the audience.
